Hey guys! I am an official college graduate! Gosh I can't believe it is
official and it has actually happened. My diploma is so pretty, I can't
stop staring at it! haha. Graduation day was such a fun day to share
with all of my friends, and I am so thankful that I was able to walk with my brother as well. My
parents were so excited to watch my brother and I graduate together. It
was awesome! ere are some pictures from the big day :)
Here is a picture of my cap I designed for graduation :)
Yep...still can't believe it's over. It is such a surreal feeling.
As we sat and listened to our graduation ceremony with all of our different speakers, we were all pretty much dying in the scorching heat. Thankfully the ceremony went pretty fast, and we were done with our diplomas in about an hour and a half. As I looked around in the crowd at the faces I had become familiar with throughout these last 4 years, I couldn't believe how fast time had flown by for my college experience. If I could any of you guys who are in still in college some advice, it would be to simply enjoy it while it lasts. One minute your a Freshman, and the next your a Senior at your graduation ceremony like me. College was such a blessing to me, and I grew so much during these 4 years.
As I prepare myself for graduate school and getting ready to be a teacher next year, I am thrilled to see where God leads me. God has been so provisional in my life ever since I became a Christian, and I have no doubt that He is going to continue to lead me into some amazing opportunities in the future.
"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11
My next mission is to find a summer job! I leave to be a leader at Young Life camp in a few days, and I am so excited! Once I get home from camp, I move into my new house with my roommates just a few days after that! I am praying A LOT about finding a summer job, one that I would really enjoy and that would bring God the most glory. I really want to work at a coffee shop here in town, so I have really been praying a lot on that one. It is a little stressful not really knowing what exactly God wants me to do this summer, but I trust His plan for my life. I know that good things are ahead, and that I just have to keep being obedient and follow where He leads me.
Love you guyssssss!
